Core Program

The Core Program is an alternative education program of choice that serves students in Grades 1-9 at our Connections For Learning campus in Stony Plain.

Students attend school on a modified schedule receiving Core programming in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science in the morning. During the afternoon, our students either participate in our My PATH program or parent-led learning, in consultation with teachers, to meet the remaining learning outcomes of the Alberta curriculum. This gives parents the flexibility to create a customized curriculum based on student interests as well as needs and abilities when they are not attending Connections For Learning.
