2023-2024 Visual Arts Celebration
It is that time of the year again when Parkland School Division kicks off the Visual Arts Celebration. The event, hosted this year at Memorial Composite High School, runs from Tuesday, April 23, 2024 to Wednesday, April 24, 2024 and is a showcase of the early years, middle years and senior high artwork from across the division that goes on display for students, parents and community members to view.
Typically, schools take turns hosting the event, which occurs at the end of April or beginning of May.
The incredibly creative pieces of art featured in the Visual Arts Celebration have been chosen by teachers to represent each school in the division. Out of the artwork featured, three pieces from each school will be selected for extended display at the Centre for Education from June 2024 through June 2025. After the display, all the artwork will be returned to students.
A huge congratulations to all students selected to be featured in the celebration. We hope you and your families enjoy and take inspiration from all the beautiful and creative compositions showcased.
