Strong Families: March 12

27
Information Session, Strong Families, Wellness

Parkland School Division is proud to partner with the Alberta Parenting For The Future Association to present another FREE information session for local families.

In our upcoming session, we will be joined by professional counselor Jenn Banas who will walk participants through the nature of trauma, how it can manifest in the brain and our behaviours. You’ll discover how unprocessed trauma, which includes attachment trauma, can predispose children to addictive behaviours. Attendees will also learn how to spot the signs of addiction and what tools are available for support.

Date: Tuesday, March 12, 2024
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Location: Parkland School Division Centre for Education (4603-48 Street in Stony Plain)
Presenter: Jenn Banas (Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling, Clinical Traumatologist, Director - Parkland Wellness Center)
