Strong Families: April 16

Information Session, Strong Families

Parkland School Division is proud to partner with the Alberta Parenting For The Future Association to present another FREE information session for local families.

In our upcoming session, attendees will view a presentation for parents and caregivers on having healthy parent-child relationships and talking about healthy relationships with youth. The presentation will define the elements of healthy relationships, including boundaries and consent. The second half of the two-hour session will teach parents to develop healthy habits with their child, teach them about consent, conflict, and how to recognize healthy or unhealthy behaviours.

Date: Tuesday, April 16, 2024
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Parkland School Division Centre for Education (4603-48 Street in Stony Plain)

Presenter: Nancy Skorobohach (Public Educator at the Saffron Centre)  and Hanna McGee (Registered Dietitian?)
