Nature Programming Info. Session & Open House

Muir Lake School invites incoming kindergarten students and their families to attend two different in-person events related to Nature programming, in advance of the 2024-2025 school year. 

Nature programming is based at Muir Lake School and focuses on providing meaningful student engagement in a nature-based setting while addressing the kindergarten curriculum. To learn more about the Nature Kindergarten program, including its two distinct learning streams, please visit the Nature Kindergarten page.

Information Session

This event will help families to evaluate if Nature programming is a good fit for their children. It will provide program information for both Nature Kindergarten and Nature Enrichment.

Time: 5-6pm

Open House

This is an orientation for families that have registered their children for the program. It will provide program information for both Nature Kindergarten and Nature Enrichment.

Date: Wednesday, February 21
Time: 6-7pm

Please note:

• Your child must first be registered for a recognized Alberta Kindergarten program (such as Parkland School Division's regular Kindergarten program). Online registration for Parkland School Division is conducted exclusively online and opens on Monday, February 12, 2024. All parents/guardians are encouraged to complete online registration by 4:30pm on Friday, March 22, 2024. While priority will be given to Parkland School Division students, out-of-division applicants may be considered if space and resources are available.
