May 3, 2023 - On Monday, May 1st, the province of Alberta confirmed writs have been issued for the 2023 provincial election. Parkland School Division's Board of Trustees prepared some talking points that PSD families and stakeholders in general may want to consider when speaking to MLA candidates vying for seats in the Legislature this May.

PSD's Board of Trustees continue to advocate for areas of high priority including:

  • School builds to address population needs
  • Provincial funding for long-term planning
  • Cross-ministry partnerships
  • Curriculum development
  • Stability in learning
