April 10, 2025 - Parkland School Division (PSD) is pleased to host an Early Education Open House coming up April  16th from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

PSD has taken pride in offering an outstanding Early Education Program over the past 20 years. The program is funded through PUF (Program Unit Funding), supporting students aged 2.8 to 4.8 years of age, as of September 1st, 2025, with moderate to severe needs.

This is an inclusive program and will welcome play partners as we know students learn best from and with their peers. Family voice and involvement are essential to the program and this will  continue to be offered for the 2025-2026 school year.

Families are welcome to enjoy an evening full of fun activities and to learn more about PSD's Early Education Program. The Early Learning team, including a speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist and educational psychologist will be available to answer any questions that parents/guardians may have.

We look forward to meeting and sharing information with you on our quality early education program.

The program provides:

  • Learning that is guided by a professional teacher;
  • A low student-to-staff ratio;
  • Individualized program planning with parents to address each child’s needs;
  • Specialized, intensive service in areas of diverse needs;
  • Integrated and individual speech and language services; and,
  • Access to physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychological services.

Register is open!
