AP 140: School Reviews

Administration of Policy and Legislation

Background

Reviews shall be designed to assist schools to establish and maintain appropriate instructional, program and management standards.

Procedures

1. The Superintendent shall be responsible for the review of schools, and may select a school for review, depending on need and the availability of resources.

2. The review may include a review of stakeholder satisfaction, student success, staff competence, facility adequacy, program quality, support services or any other factor deemed necessary.

3. The Principal shall, within sixty (60) calendar days of the receipt of the review report, provide a written action plan which effectively addresses the recommendations contained in the review report.

3.1. The Superintendent shall set the format for the action plans.
