Board ratifies deal with IUOE Labour Relations Committee

Thursday, January 16, 2025 - The Parkland School Division Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that is has approved a recommendation to accept and ratify a contract with the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE).

The contract with IUOE Local 955 has been accepted by the Board and is set to be ratified after a special meeting on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. The new deal will see wage increases of 3% per year for the term of the 4-year agreement. Other highlights include leave for special circumstances and new language on how overtime will be offered to employees in the union.
