Living, Academic, Work Skills

Living, Academic, Work Skills (LAWS) provides an alternate classroom program for students with mild to moderate cognitive delays. Students focus on critical learning from an adapted Alberta Program of Studies in math, language arts, science, and social studies. Additional key areas of focus are health and well being, social skills, job preparation and community work experience.

At the successful completion of their Grade 12 year, students are awarded a High School Certificate of Completion. Some students will be able to complete a Knowledge and Employability Skills Certificate. Upon completion of this program students will be prepared to enter the work force or attend a Transitional Vocational College program.
